
Dan Salus, MBA
Daniel joined H&H Leadership Solutions in September 2024. Dan has over 20 years of experience in healthcare including over 16 years in recruiting and human resources leadership. Dan has a fundamental knowledge of healthcare operations in both rural and large urban facilities nationwide from an executive leadership and clinical perspective. Dan is a proven innovative leader in sourcing and developing high-level talent in complex leadership roles by using reliable and progressive recruiting strategies and demonstrated onboarding techniques.
Throughout his career, Dan has driven organizational growth through executive leadership, working closely with boards and the executive team to develop and execute the organization’s mission and vision by implementing the strategic plan while adhering to core values. Dan also has nine years of service as a Medical Officer in the US Army, functioning as a strategic and operational leader. Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in finance with distinction from Arizona State University, a master’s in business administration with a healthcare concentration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, a higher diploma in healthcare administration from the US Army, and is currently working on his doctorate in healthcare administration.
Healthcare and organizational development have always been a passion for Dan. He excelled at academics and team sports from a young age and quickly decided to pursue a career in healthcare. Dan originally went to school to be a dentist but found his true calling for business through his education and a natural ability to lead, as expressed in his military service. Through his skills in connecting and developing others, Dan found a rewarding career path in executive recruitment and human resources. He continues his self-development through education, training, and professional certifications to be able to best serve those he works with.
Dan was born in Mesa, Arizona, and has lived in Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Denver for most of his life, while also spending time in multiple cities across the nation for the US Army. He enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures, especially cuisines, and even lived in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, as a child. His main passions are community involvement, sports and fitness, and spending quality time with his young daughter, Palmer.
